About the role
- Partner with senior leaders to address high-leverage, high-visibility challenges throughout our Card business
- Develop insights that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One
- Present to senior management on learnings, opportunities, and proposed solutions
- Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis
- Work closely with partners across Card to understand and address challenges across tech, credit, operations, and more
- Invest in the development of peer analysts in your org
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Financial Analysis
- Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity
- Strong executive communication skills
- Strong technical and data skills
- Prior experience in FP&A roles is preferable
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- 2+ years of experience using SQL, Python, or a combination
- 1+ years of experience in financial services, banking or technology industries
- 1+ years of experience partnering with senior leaders and internal stakeholders
- Prior Card knowledge and experience
