About the role
- Understand the organization’s strategy and vision, to drive and track goals and priorities
- Serve as the main point of contact and own various projects in pipeline from the planning phase through delivery and stabilization
- Lead and assist in the development, testing and implementation of project requirements
- Collaborate with several teams across the organization on the Enterprise Wide Discover Integration
- Facilitate the consistent use of the Agile methodology for delivering projects
- Present results, findings, risks and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Contribute to Process Improvement through project development and knowledge sharing with a well governed mindset
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and stay connected on process or product changes
- Demonstrate ability to maintain effectiveness in constantly changing environment
- Ability to apply integrative thinking in complex situations, identify issues and propose solutions
- Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to integrate information from different sources to solve problems and improve processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of project experience driving projects in accounting, external financial reporting, audit, finance, or a combination
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Project Management (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience driving projects in Accounting (preferred)
- 1+ year of people management experience (preferred)
