About the role
- This role is for a Senior Business Analyst on the Mainstreet Insights and Innovation Team.
- Responsible for analytics throughout the product development life cycle, including intent ideation, prioritization, and performance.
- Analyze business challenges and opportunities for improvement and make recommendations.
- Perform modeling/analytics to assist new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
- Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and assist in building targeted insights.
- Support improvements in credit performance by creating risk models and monitoring.
- Collaborate with teams across Capital One to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
- Must have strong analytical orientation and business judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
- At least 1 year of experience in analysis
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering (Preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building (Preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in market research (Preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in SQL querying (Preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis (Preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in consulting (Preferred)
