Key responsibilities & impact

Lead programs that deliver on critical business goals and build large-scale products and platforms
Drive architectural alignment, technical strategy, and execution of organizational objectives and key results
Improve scalability and system resilience within the global payment network engineering lifecycle
Own complex technical dependencies and cross-functional engineering roadmaps
Deliver robust global financial infrastructure
Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
Simplify technically complex issues and drive informed decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science
Secure commitments on deliverables and unblock teams to achieve business impact
Help expand the technical program management discipline by teaching the organization what effective TPM practices can achieve
Collaborate across functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in technical program management
Strong technical background, ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services
Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills
Quantitative approach to problem solving and systems thinking
Ability to simplify technically complex topics and drive decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science
Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results
Ability to collaborate across functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or military experience
Preferred: 5+ years designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
Preferred: 3+ years building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing architecture, preferably AWS
Preferred: 3+ years building highly scalable mobile products and platforms
Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery
Preferred: 3+ years delivering large and complex programs
Preferred: Experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field
