About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute test procedures for critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management
Perform risk assessments of business activities and conduct relevant testing based on identified risks and processes
Communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to all levels of management
Operate independently and complete work on schedule while meeting quality standards
Prepare clear, organized, and complete audit documentation
Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and the extended Audit group
Leverage data and analytical tools during audit planning and fieldwork
Follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management meets commitments within agreed timescales
Seek learning opportunities to enhance role-related skills and competencies
Audit technology implementations, application controls, and cybersecurity risks related to the Global Payment Network

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in tech auditing, information technology, information security, information systems risk management, or a combination
At least 1 year of experience analyzing data extracts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Experience in testing scripting or coding, including writing, reviewing, or assessing
Preferred: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or relevant cloud/cyber certifications such as AWS certifications or CISSP
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or a professional services firm serving large banks
Preferred: 3+ years of experience auditing or performing cyber or information security
Preferred: 1+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and controls, or conducting audits of controls in cloud-based environments
Exposure to relevant industry frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800 series, FedRAMP, and CIS benchmarks
