About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute test procedures for critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management
- Perform risk assessments of business activities and conduct relevant testing based on identified risks and processes
- Communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to all levels of management
- Operate independently and complete work on schedule while meeting quality standards
- Prepare clear, organized, and complete audit documentation
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and the extended Audit group
- Leverage data and analytical tools during audit planning and fieldwork
- Follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management meets commitments within agreed timescales
- Seek learning opportunities to enhance role-related skills and competencies
- Audit technology implementations, application controls, and cybersecurity risks related to the Global Payment Network
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience in tech auditing, information technology, information security, information systems risk management, or a combination
- At least 1 year of experience analyzing data extracts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Experience in testing scripting or coding, including writing, reviewing, or assessing
- Preferred: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or relevant cloud/cyber certifications such as AWS certifications or CISSP
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or a professional services firm serving large banks
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience auditing or performing cyber or information security
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and controls, or conducting audits of controls in cloud-based environments
- Exposure to relevant industry frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800 series, FedRAMP, and CIS benchmarks
