About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate new and expand existing full-service treasury management relationships for Sponsor and Specialized Industries clients
  • Sell and maintain depository accounts and treasury management services for new and existing Capital One relationships
  • Advise prospects and clients on deposit, treasury management, risk, and liquidity needs
  • Build a book of business through deposit growth, cross-selling, and prospecting for new-to-bank relationships
  • Work with TMT or FIG Relationship Managers and leadership to generate new relationships and develop existing clients
  • Deliver value-added solutions and collaborate across product and technology organizations
  • Identify prospects and develop relationships to profitably expand business
  • Provide thought leadership through corporate events and industry conferences
  • Collaborate with marketing on sales collateral and company-sponsored marketing
  • Manage existing and new-to-bank client portfolios for profitable revenue growth and reduced attrition
  • Identify and communicate operational credit exposures and other risks
  • Ensure treasury management product risk and Capital One policies are adhered to and mitigated
  • Establish onboarding expectations, execute documentation, and ensure ramp-up of sold services
  • Conduct sales calls to generate profitable treasury management and deposit business and achieve growth goals
  • Engage with industry, networking, and community associations
  • Identify working capital efficiency opportunities and deepen client relationships
  • Identify and refer ancillary business opportunities to appropriate partners
  • Design customer-centric treasury management solutions and provide consultative liquidity-management expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years of financial services experience
  • At least 5 years of sales experience
  • At least 5 years of treasury management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience (preferred)
  • At least 7 years of treasury management experience (preferred)
  • In-depth to advanced treasury management product knowledge (preferred)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills (preferred)
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Must not require new employment authorization sponsorship from Capital One
