About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate on diverse Finance organization processes and activities using a risk management mindset and Finance expertise
  • Work with Accountable Executives and delegates of global and international Finance processes to identify international risks, recommend control improvements, and support a well-managed environment
  • Support implementation of the international risk management framework for Finance and enterprise international maturation and governance programs
  • Assess contemplated international expansion efforts and provide risk perspectives to impacted Finance leaders
  • Connect with risk teams across global and international businesses to understand best practices and ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Support second-line-of-defense teams with operational reporting and governance forums
  • Investigate issues and events with partner teams, perform root cause analysis, and suggest remediation actions
  • Engage risk partners to align with enterprise guidance, standards, and policies
  • Synthesize disparate information to influence business, product, and technology leaders toward grounded, risk-based decisions
  • Create and maintain process and governance documentation, including process flows, scorecards, SOPs, and presentation materials
  • Evaluate local regulatory changes and facilitate incorporation into controls and procedures
  • Assist with audit and regulatory exam preparation and execution
  • Provide risk analysis, insights, and reporting metrics with broader FRM teams
  • Support recurring and ad hoc risk activities, including process-level risk assessments and payments control testing
  • Provide pre-, during-, and post-audit/exam management and risk advisory support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of combined professional work experience
  • At least 6 months of experience within the financial services industry
  • 1+ years of Risk Management experience in Finance, Compliance, Audit, Payments or a combination (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience executing complex, cross-functional projects (preferred)
  • Experience with regulatory compliance assessment and mitigation (preferred)
  • Experience with international risk reporting (preferred)
  • Effective communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills (preferred)
  • Experience with process mapping and/or enterprise risk management systems (preferred)
  • Proficient with Google Suite (preferred)
