About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Enterprise Supplier Management Project Management Office within Capital One
Build and oversee project management structure and governance for Enterprise Supplier Management
Define and implement methodologies, processes, and tools to standardize project delivery and enhance visibility
Identify and sequence multi-year strategic objectives and roadmap for the project portfolio
Lead and support a team of approximately 10–20 Associates
Own executive-level communications, roadmaps, and reporting
Provide strategic oversight and hands-on assistance for scoping, feasibility assessment, and foundational program definition
Facilitate tradeoff and prioritization discussions with the Executive Leadership Team
Direct workflow solution design and implementation
Drive continuous improvement using data, technology, industry best practices, and Agile methodologies
Partner with project customers, legal/compliance, technology leads, and business operations
Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while managing risk
Maintain understanding of AI principles, project-management applications, and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 9 years of project, program, or process management experience
At least 5 years of People Management experience
At least 3 years of Financial Services experience
Preferred: Master’s degree
Preferred: 10+ years of project, program, or process management experience
Preferred: 5+ years leading complex strategic initiatives or transformations focused on establishing governance or operationalizing project frameworks
Preferred: 3+ years in Enterprise Supplier Management, supply chain, or procurement
Experience with change management methodologies or leading organizational transformations
PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
Preferred: 6+ years of People Management experience
