About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platforms
- Create and tune DLP policies to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration
- Automate security controls using scripting and infrastructure-as-code
- Ensure operational stability of the DLP platform by monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues
- Support incident response efforts and collaborate with threat detection teams
- Tune policies based on detection patterns and refine playbooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3-5 years in data protection or in Information Security
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency with DLP tools and technologies such as Symantec, Microsoft, Zscaler, or Palo Alto DLP platforms
- In-depth knowledge of data protection methods, including encryption, data masking, and tokenization techniques
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA)
- Experience with data classification frameworks
