About the role
- Partner closely with leaders to connect business objectives with people strategies that deliver measurable impact and lasting organizational success. Focus areas will include engagement, inclusion, performance amongst other topics.
- Sustain performance frameworks that foster accountability and high standards, enabling managers to set clear goals, give meaningful feedback, and drive individual growth.
- Address workplace matters with empathy and integrity, lead actions that enhance engagement and retention, and foster open feedback channels that keep the organization connected and informed.
- Develop clear and scalable HR policies that reflect global best practices while ensuring full compliance with local labour laws and evolving regulations.
- Work closely with People Operations on the transition project and to optimize HR processes, payroll, and systems through automation and continuous improvement, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence.
- Use HR analytics to track key metrics (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill, engagement scores), identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- **Industry and Functional Expertise**: Minimum 7–10 years in HRBP or HR leadership roles within fast-growing technology companies, with proven success supporting global technical organizations.
- **Operational Know-How**: Strong track record in managing HR operations, payroll, HRIS, and policy implementation in complex, fast-paced environments especially in the UK
- **Strategic and Analytical Mindset**: Ability to translate business objectives into people strategies, leveraging data and insights to inform decisions and measure impact.
- **Talent and Performance Management**: Extensive experience leading recruitment initiatives, designing onboarding programs, and implementing performance frameworks for high-performing teams.
- **Communication and collaboration**: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust across senior leadership and diverse, international teams.
- **Leadership style**: Pragmatic and business-oriented, comfortable challenging the status quo, driving change, and acting as a coach and trusted advisor to leaders.
- **Strong project management skills:** There will be a lot going on, so you’ll need to find a way to structure your work and ensure stakeholders are kept informed and pulled in at relevant moments
- **Open mindset:** We move at pace within Capital.com and put AI at the centre of how we want to work, so experience with this is a big plus.
- **Education & language**: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR accreditation (CIPD or similar) is a strong plus. Fluent English (CEFR B2+).
