About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on sustainable revenue growth.
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate new client relationships throughout the Capital Region and surrounding markets.
- Build relationships with business leaders, nonprofit executives, board members, and referral partners.
- Attend networking events, chamber meetings, conferences, and community events as a representative of Capital CFO+.
- Schedule and conduct introductory meetings with prospective clients.
- Present Capital CFO+'s Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing services to prospective clients.
- Develop strategic referral partnerships with complementary service providers.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities.
- Work closely with leadership to develop proposals and transition new clients into service.
- Meet monthly business development activity and revenue goals.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of successful business development or business-to-business sales experience.
- Demonstrated track record of growing revenue and developing long-term client relationships.
- Experience selling professional services, consulting, or similar business solutions is strongly preferred.
- An existing network within New York's Capital Region business community is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Strong organizational and CRM management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
