About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • driving year‑on‑year revenue and margin growth across the Public Sector
  • identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities that will enable our growth ambitions as a business
  • developing compelling win strategies that align to customer needs and our CPS propositions
  • building relationships with key customer stakeholders across public sector organisations
  • embedding our technology enabled solutions at the heart of our new business opportunities by working collaboratively with market development, Win Centre and technology teams across Capita
  • using data, insight and sales tools to manage your pipeline, forecast accurately and inform strategic planning
  • collaborating across CPS teams to ensure seamless transition of new business into delivery and account management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Essential: experience working with in the Public Services Sector with an experience in and passion for selling Contact Centre, Tech Sales, BPO, and Case Management propositions.
  • good experience managing a business development or sales pipeline, with a track record of achieving targets
  • confident engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusted client relationships
  • commercially astute, able to qualify opportunities and shape tailored solutions
  • skilled at using insight, research and market intelligence to drive sales decisions
  • strong understanding of business development best practice - account planning, pipeline discipline, reporting and risk management
  • Desirable: salesforce experience highly advantageous
