About the role
- Analyse Calculation requirements
- Undertake system configuration, data analysis, and testing
- Upload and download system data
- Participate in client meetings and project status calls
- Liaise with clients, third parties and Capita departments
- Support the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in new and/or enhanced developments
- Provide support to the line manager in the effective management of any staff under their direct control
- Support the production of requirements documentation
- Facilitate internal and external system training when required
Requirements
- End to end experience of the project lifecycle - able to describe the key elements of projects including initiation, governance, control and closure and can provide examples of active participation in all of these stages
- Can draft an automated excel calculator with basic formula
- Can manipulate data with good data accuracy, able to explain: pension member records and their set up the relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds and investments different types of Pension Schemes different types of member status' and applicable calculations for each
- Able to draft and interpret calculation proformas in order to draft scenario matrices to incorporate all relevant scenarios
- Able to draft and check test plan to detail all expected results and system updates
