About the role
- Perform frontline compliance tasks including review customer onboardings, EDD, transaction monitoring, and handling local bank RFIs
- Implement regulatory processes and assist with partnership diligence; present compliance processes to bank partners; monitor UEMOA regulations
- Advise on new products and partnerships; work with Legal, Finance, and Operations
- Coordinate internal and external audits in the UEMOA region
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6–8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or legal roles
- Direct experience with BCEAO regulations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with or experience in the legal and business environment of West Africa
- Fluency in French and strong English proficiency
- Reflexive user of AI; comfortable with Notion and Google Suite
