About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with streamlined change and release management
Maintain configuration management, build, continuous integration, deployment, reporting, and monitoring tools
Implement and operate monitoring and alerting tools
Develop scripts to automate server, CI/CD, and related tasks
Participate in and implement capacity planning and risk management
Explore and adopt DevOps approaches to improve production reliability and availability
Implement security practices complying with standards to protect data and infrastructure
Work in highly collaborative teams and build quality environments
Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Manage cloud infrastructure and application services

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2–3 years of relevant DevOps Engineering experience
Additional 1–2 years of prior experience as a Software Engineer or System Engineer
Hands-on experience with AWS
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization
Understanding of virtualization and networking concepts
Experience with production deployments such as Kubernetes
Experience automating provisioning with infrastructure-as-code best practices
Experience with Linux server administration
Bash shell scripting and other scripting languages
Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch
Experience with highly scalable distributed systems
Knowledge of operating systems, networking, distributed computing, and cloud computing
Ability to manage cloud infrastructure and application services
Strong troubleshooting aptitude
Good communication skills
Experience working in Scrum teams
