About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with streamlined change and release management
- Maintain configuration management, build, continuous integration, deployment, reporting, and monitoring tools
- Implement and operate monitoring and alerting tools
- Develop scripts to automate server, CI/CD, and related tasks
- Participate in and implement capacity planning and risk management
- Explore and adopt DevOps approaches to improve production reliability and availability
- Implement security practices complying with standards to protect data and infrastructure
- Work in highly collaborative teams and build quality environments
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Manage cloud infrastructure and application services
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2–3 years of relevant DevOps Engineering experience
- Additional 1–2 years of prior experience as a Software Engineer or System Engineer
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization
- Understanding of virtualization and networking concepts
- Experience with production deployments such as Kubernetes
- Experience automating provisioning with infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Experience with Linux server administration
- Bash shell scripting and other scripting languages
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch
- Experience with highly scalable distributed systems
- Knowledge of operating systems, networking, distributed computing, and cloud computing
- Ability to manage cloud infrastructure and application services
- Strong troubleshooting aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in Scrum teams
