About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Directs the development and implementation of advanced modeling techniques to optimize finance strategies. Ensures modeling efforts contribute to profitable revenue growth.
- Leads technical analysis of market intelligence, predictive modelling, and pricing assumptions. Establishes analytics philosophies that align with financial objectives and measure progress toward targets.
- Adjusts finance strategies based on performance metrics and market demands.
- Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize performance to provide insights for annual financial plans including rate activity, policies in force, revenue growth, loss trends, and other key components.
- Oversees financial projections and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and risk assessment. Uses predictive analytics to generate accurate forecasts that align with business objectives.
- Develops and implements customer behavior segmentation and targeting strategies using predictive modeling. Drives marketing decisions that optimize customer selection and revenue.
- Guides product development by leveraging advanced modeling and actuarial analysis to inform product innovation, market alignment, and revenue growth potential.
- Establishes data-driven strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and promote long-term engagement.
- Analyzes performance metrics for direct marketing and media investments while providing insights to balance profitability, customer engagement, and competitive positioning.
- Builds team capabilities in data analytics, predictive modeling, and actuarial analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 9+ years of experience required in a similar role
- Full English Fluency
- BS: Actuarial science, data science, mathematics, statistics or related field. Masters: Desirable
- Insurance & Pricing Experience (MUST)
- **Technical & Business Skills**
- Programming Language: Python, SQL, R, Data Visualization Tools
- Predictive Analysis, Modeling, Analytical Skills
- Hands On – Leverage Actions, Proactive, innovation-driven mindset
- Lead in ambiguity
- Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
- Translate technical to nontechnical audience
- Possesses strong technical aptitude
- AI knowledge, Automation, LLMs, Copilot and Claude (PLUS)
- **Fellowship designation from a recognized actuarial organization is required, such as FCAS or an equivalent local credential.**
