About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze and critique as-is business processes and create to-be processes incorporating platform applications to improve efficiency
Review requests for new or modified computer programs for feasibility, cost, timing, compatibility, and capabilities
Analyze, plan, develop, test, and document computer programs
Provide business process and system analysis, design, improvement, implementation, and technical requirements translation
Develop management plans and conduct regular collaborator meetings to report project progress
Resolve and document user requirements for business processes
Review and analyze information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures
Provide expertise in Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Analysis
Transition organizations to improved automated processes
Support activity and data modeling, upgraded business methods, standard process identification, and performance measurement
Facilitate groups, conduct interviews and training, and provide knowledge transfer
Coordinate customers and multiple project teams for enterprise-wide integration and standardized processes, including automation, RPA, and AI
Provide daily supervision and direction to other contractors
Participate in agile development projects, document user stories, and lead scrum meetings and other agile ceremonies

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. Citizenship is required
Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance
Associate degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience as a technical business or data analyst with ServiceNow or a similar platform
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development
Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Working knowledge and experience with Agile development practices and ceremonies
ServiceNow experience and relevant certifications preferred
Certified Scrum Master preferred
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification preferred
Experience with CMDB, SACM, and/or Service Catalogue analysis preferred
Understanding of ITIL best practices preferred
ITIL Foundations training or certification preferred
Experience with JIRA or another related agile development application preferred
