About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate, design, execute, measure, and optimize complex enterprise workflows and business operations
  • Model complex business, operational, and technical workflows
  • Develop current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") process maps using BPMN 2.0 and UML
  • Conduct root-cause analysis, value-stream mapping, and gap analyses
  • Re-engineer processes to maximize efficiency, consistency, and compliance
  • Lead discovery workshops, interviews, and working groups with technical leads, program managers, system architects, and executive stakeholders
  • Establish performance baselines, KPIs, and target metrics to quantify process-change impact and track continuous process improvement
  • Author, standardize, and maintain SOPs, process charters, playbooks, work instructions, and policy-alignment documentation
  • Collaborate with organizational change management teams on implementation plans, training materials, and communication strategies
  • Partner with enterprise architects and software development teams to translate optimized processes into system requirements, automation workflows, or enterprise software updates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in business process re-engineering (BPR), process modeling, operational analysis, or continuous process improvement
  • Must possess an active U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret clearance required)
  • Exceptional facilitation, interview, and mediation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Ability to translate complex technical/procedural information for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio
  • Applied experience using BPMN 2.0
  • Experience leading requirements-gathering sessions and process optimization initiatives across complex matrixed environments
  • Hands-on experience developing enterprise metrics, performance tracking dashboards, and quantitative risk/benefit analyses
  • ITIL 4 Foundation or Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster)
  • Familiarity with federal or defense enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, FEAF, TOGAF)
  • Experience supporting process integration for enterprise cybersecurity capabilities and Zero Trust implementations
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not now and/or will not in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US by Capgemini
