About the role

  • Create clear, user‑focused web and digital experiences for government clients.
  • Work closely with both external clients and internal, cross-functional teams on projects that range from a few weeks to a few months in length.
  • Provide strategic consultation during client meetings to understand needs, clarify requirements, and guide design direction.
  • Integrate client feedback to refine concepts and deliver high‑quality designs that meet user needs and support project goals.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops to gather insights, align stakeholders, and drive informed design decisions.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree (equivalency may be accepted for 4 additional years of direct design experience with Associates in lieu of Bachelor's degree) in Information Technology, Arts, Graphic design or related field
  • Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate researched information into visually stimulating and intellectually engaging typography, infographics, process models and diagrams, iconography, and custom illustration.
  • Transitioning easily between multiple topics and aesthetics.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Proficiency in writing and understanding User Stories.
  • Proficiency using Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and JIRA.
  • Experience delivering interface design solutions for various clients, including highly detailed annotated wireframes and user flows within complex web or mobile applications
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Understanding of technology platforms that support user experiences.
  • Demonstrable understanding of technical, creative and development project lifecycles.
