About the role

  • Develop data models that enable multidimensional views for decision-making;
  • Gather requirements from users, collecting necessary information to define requirements;
  • Design, specify and develop data models;
  • Define deadlines and priorities for user requests through the Project Management Office/Project Manager;
  • Present to the BI sponsor the overall scope, priorities and plan for addressing pending requests;
  • Build management dashboards;
  • Develop indicator and metrics reports;
  • Define development standards and best practices;
  • Propose solutions based on analysis of user demand scope, aligning it with the technological vision;
  • Oversee the implementation process, supporting the operations team and monitoring the produced results.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another Technology-related field;
  • Postgraduate degree in Data Analysis if the candidate has a degree in an exact sciences field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in the activities mentioned;
  • Knowledge of BI concepts, ETL, DW, OLAP, MOLAP, dimensional modeling;
  • Entity-relationship modeling;
  • Strong knowledge of databases (MSSQL);
  • Experience building the schema/object layer (attributes, facts, metrics);
  • Proficiency in SQL;
  • Knowledge of BI tools and reporting tools.
