About the role

  • Own the engagement with a new/early customer and deploy Cape technology
  • Be boots on the ground working with customers to understand their challenges and deploy our technology
  • Cultivate relationships at all levels of seniority and create and deliver executive presentations to ensure buy-in
  • Burn through frozen-middle bureaucracies to clear a path to success
  • Work fluidly with product and engineering to ensure product direction aligns with customers’ on-the-ground reality
  • Influence cross-team members to direct the appropriate resources to customer objectives
  • Demonstrate a high degree of interdependence: make decisions and lead initiatives while leveraging engineering and product expertise
  • Judge when to pursue or conserve resources for ideas to ensure successful execution

Requirements

  • Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
  • Based in Washington, DC (preferred), or New York, NY
  • Gritty technical skills; ability to automate tasks as necessary
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, guide, lead and follow
  • A love for building things that matter
  • Five years of experience working in customer-facing roles (preferred)
  • Specific examples of times you’ve slain bureaucratic dragons (preferred)
  • Domain experience with privacy, security, telco, or related fields (preferred)
  • Experience in enterprise customer success, especially at early stage companies (preferred)
  • Program and/or Project management experience in a post sales or implementation environment (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR hands-on technical skills acquired on the job or through a coding training program
