Accountant

• Prepare and maintain assigned balance sheet and SOP reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation.\n• Prepare journal entries as needed for accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.\n• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statement packages and support the month-end close process.\n• Record and reconcile monthly transactions related to retirement plans.\n• Provide support for the annual financial statement audit and the preparation of the annual IRS Form 990.\n• Utilize accounting software, ERP systems, and other IT tools to perform duties efficiently and accurately.\n• Assist in ERP implementation projects, including data review, transfer, and reconciliation between legacy and new systems.\n• Collaborate with colleagues across the Institution to ensure the integrity and completeness of financial data.\n• Participate in cross-training to support the Finance & Accounting department.
