Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development and implementation of advanced optical diagnostic techniques
Design and execute complex optical diagnostic techniques in wind tunnels
Develop, implement, and maintain non-intrusive optical diagnostics
Oversee design and development of custom diagnostic tools
Direct data fusion from multiple diagnostic systems
Perform in-depth analysis of complex test data
Lead and participate in test planning, execution, and reporting
Foster a culture of open communication and continuous learning

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's in engineering or science discipline
10+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years in experimental aerodynamics environment
Extensive hands-on experience with optical diagnostic techniques
Proven ability to lead technical teams
Strong programming skills for data analysis and test automation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering or related field (preferred)
Familiarity with additional diagnostic techniques and CFD knowledge (preferred)
