About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and contribute to the strategic development, creation, execution, and stewardship of Hyundai performance media campaigns and deliverables
  • Develop digital performance strategy, audience development, campaign execution, measurement insights, and performance analysis
  • Connect performance activity to Hyundai’s broader brand and business objectives
  • Infuse tactical investment into the overall planning process
  • Partner with Brand Strategy, Investment, Social, Search, Programmatic, Analytics, Ad Ops, and partner agency teams on integrated recommendations
  • Maintain client and partner agency relationships
  • Develop client presentations with strategic rationale, data visualization, narratives, insights, and action items
  • Serve as a media expert in internal and external meetings
  • Identify, develop, and oversee innovative strategies to achieve client results
  • Lead measurable objectives, strategies, and approaches for performance media planning and optimization
  • Provide thought leadership on performance strategy, tactical approach, audience planning, testing, and measurement
  • Ensure client financial stewardship, reporting, budget management, authorization, and billing needs
  • Educate team members and provide growth opportunities
  • Drive cross-disciplinary collaboration and integrate performance recommendations with Hyundai’s broader media strategy
  • Standardize performance team capabilities, planning approaches, and workstreams
  • Manage multiple ongoing and ad-hoc projects
  • Track media trends, platform innovation, measurement evolution, and relevant marketplace developments
  • Guide and mentor Supervisors, Strategists, and Associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred
  • 8–10 years of experience in Media Strategy/Planning focused on digital and performance channels
  • Agency and management experience required
  • Experience building senior client relationships and translating business challenges into integrated media strategies
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of research tools such as comScore, Kantar, and Nielsen
  • Proficiency with Prisma, Campaign Manager 360/DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleVerify, and similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of performance measurement, optimization frameworks, audience strategy, and digital campaign results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Superior time management, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Superb organizational, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, resourcefulness, and creative thinking skills
  • Proven experience driving projects and campaigns from start to finish
  • Strong leadership skills and enthusiasm for managing and developing team members
