About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional People Group projects, spanning technology-enabled outcomes, process redesign and organisational initiatives
  • Develop and maintain clear project plans, ensuring scope, dependencies, risks and priorities are well understood and communicated to stakeholders
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the people and teams needed to deliver — across IT, People and other functions — without relying on direct authority
  • Ensure projects land well, with attention to change management, adoption and sustainable outcomes for Canvanauts, leaders and People teams
  • Contribute to a consistent approach to project delivery within the People Group, sharing learnings and helping to build team capability over time
  • Act as a trusted partner to People teams and key stakeholders, keeping them informed, aligned and engaged throughout project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, complex cross-functional projects — ideally within a People/HR context
  • Experience with HR technology implementations and a comfort working across a broad technology stack
  • A strong understanding of the People/HR functional domain and how people processes and delivery work in practice
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex details effectively at all levels of an organisation
  • Well-developed and demonstrated project/program management experience, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Leading change management as part of project delivery
  • Experience rallying and collaborating with people who are not direct reports
  • Excellent problem-solving ability — able to see through complexity, identify the right issues to address and implement meaningful improvements
  • Bias for action, constantly targeting positive impact and being a force for good
  • Integrity and trustworthiness, with the humility and self-awareness to question one's own assumptions.
