About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for monthly account reconciliations, and analysis
Responsible for balance sheet trend analysis and reporting
Monitors assigned accounts for exposure, report concerns to manager
Researches and corrects account discrepancies
Tests ledger backup
Participates in the month-end close
Assists with transmission and reporting of financials
Responsible for special projects, as required by management
Assists with physical inventory and fixed asset audits
Supports internal and use tax audits of fixed assets
Assists other department members and managers with projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience
Working knowledge of GAAP including experience in and ability to research GAAP and other Authoritative Pronouncements
Strong Excel skills
CPA License is required
Audit Experience with a large Regional and/or International Public Accounting Firm is preferred
Requires strong initiative. Should be able to bring potential solution options to manager along with issues
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, time management and written skills.
