Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic and operational leadership for the SS Accounting Group
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
Ensure timely and accurate transmission of financial results
Act as a key technical accounting resource
Drive strategy execution and policy development
Manage all audit requests from Internal and External Auditors
Direct the activities of multiple managers and set team goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
10 years of related experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
MBA a plus
Extensive progressive experience in managing a corporate accounting group
Experience with Oracle and/or SAP preferred
Audit experience in a public accounting firm(s) highly preferred
Strong revenue recognition experience
Lease Accounting experience is a plus
Minimum of several years managing accounting managers and staff
Ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-accountants
