About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and convert a high-volume pipeline of Public Sector reference bids.
  • Transform inbound bid demand into consistent revenue through structured digital engagement and rapid response.
  • Act as the single point of ownership for low-touch bid opportunities.
  • Improve conversion rates, customer experience, and revenue yield.
  • Engage Public Sector customers using digital-first channels.
  • Drive progression from enquiry to proposal to close with proactive follow-ups.
  • Execute a repeatable, high-conversion bid-to-win playbook.
  • Create and deliver compelling proposals articulating value and maximizing win rates.
  • Analyze conversion data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven success in B2B digital or desk-based sales, ideally within IT, services, or solutions.
  • Experience working with Public Sector customers or bid-driven sales environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transactional pipelines while delivering consistent results.
  • Strong consultative and solution-selling capability
  • Excellent digital communication and remote selling skills
  • Commercial acumen with confidence in pricing, negotiation, and closing
  • Ability to simplify and articulate technical solutions into business outcomes
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and process discipline
  • Ownership mindset with clear accountability for results
  • Resilience and persistence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Data-driven decision making and continuous improvement focus
  • Strong collaboration across sales, bid, and support teams
  • Confidence to operate autonomously while delivering consistent outcomes
