About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently create and further develop personnel cost budgets, scenario planning and rolling forecasts (salary increases, reorganizations, etc.)
  • Work closely with Finance as part of the budgeting process, including participation in senior management budget meetings
  • Conduct HR and SG&A analyses with a focus on costs, productivity, efficiency and benchmarking, including development of actionable options
  • Translate complex data into clear decision-making materials for senior management (salary increase decisions, provisions and reorganizations)
  • Proactively identify trends, risks and optimization opportunities
  • Own the further development of the HR reporting landscape (including KPI framework)
  • Manage and expand Power BI dashboards and other data-driven HR tools
  • Ensure high data quality, data consistency and governance standards
  • Prepare monthly and annual closings (e.g., provisions, accruals)
  • Take responsibility for HR-related audit topics (internal/external, including SOX)
  • Further develop and monitor control systems and processes
  • Develop strategic recommendations for compensation structure and compensation management
  • Prepare and present management reports and decision papers
  • Lead and contribute to HR and cross-functional projects
  • Act as a sparring partner for senior management across all areas, as well as for Business Controlling and leaders
  • Collaborate with the works council and participate in negotiations (social plan, etc.)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have (several years of) experience in controlling / reporting
  • You are an excellent team player
  • You have solid knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel / PowerPoint / MS Access / Power BI
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills
  • You maintain a clear focus on your stakeholders
  • You are self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
