About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead daily operations of a clinic, ensuring efficient, high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Optimize provider schedules, patient flow, visit types, team huddles, and care-gap closure
  • Supervise EMR workflows, encounter closures, and documentation accuracy
  • Oversee OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, infection-control, vaccine-storage, emergency-readiness, and safety standards
  • Reconcile daily collections, close billing days, manage petty cash, and oversee Oracle clinic expenses
  • Audit scheduling, staffing coverage, interpreter and transportation needs, and room availability
  • Lead end-of-day reviews and escalate critical issues to leadership
  • Monitor quality dashboards, lead incident reporting and corrective actions, and serve as site leader for emergency response
  • Ensure check-in/out and front desk operations, resolve complaints, and support patient satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee new-patient onboarding, portal use, patient education, non-compliance, and disenrollment workflows
  • Analyze performance trends and implement strategies to meet value-based care contract goals
  • Collaborate with care teams and regional leaders to optimize clinical and financial outcomes
  • Participate in quality-improvement workgroups and advocate for operational tools and resources
  • Partner with the Growth team on clinic tours and onboarding new patients
  • Support retention and high-touch engagement strategies and coordinate Social Determinants of Health resources
  • Oversee timesheets, PTO calendars, staffing coverage, and timekeeping inquiries
  • Coordinate with HR and payroll to resolve timekeeping discrepancies
  • Oversee hiring, job and compensation changes, and offboarding for direct reports
  • Collaborate with regional leadership on organization-wide initiatives and center-level strategic goals
  • Hire, train, and manage front desk staff, medical assistants, and referral coordinators
  • Conduct 1:1s, huddles, performance reviews, training-needs assessments, and performance-improvement plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare or a similar service industry, or Associate Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or Public Administration with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • BLS Certification preferred
  • Able to respond to medical emergencies
  • Electronic Medical Record (eCW) superuser-level proficiency
  • Experience or proficiency with RingCentral, Workday, Oracle, Power BI, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, healthcare portals, TripMaster, compliance tools, and ticketing systems
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Patient-first mindset and hands-on leadership style
  • Proactive problem-solving and escalation judgment
  • Deep understanding of value-based care and population-health goals
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, team-based environments
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Able to work at a computer and on the phone for extended periods
  • Able to stand, sit, walk, occasionally climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to travel to clinical sites as needed; expected travel 0–25%
