About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership, direction, and goals for an Operations Team.
  • Supervise multiple projects by managing numerous supervisor / store managers.
  • Act as an intermediary between field operations and management.
  • Achieve aggressive operations goals and targets focusing on high levels of customer satisfaction and overall sales performance.
  • Coach all employees to work towards a common company objective.
  • Responsible for company monthly and weekly revenue and profit projections.
  • Ensure that daily and weekly staff schedules are in direct relation to daily, weekly revenue.
  • Review monthly sales objectives and develop strategies to achieve targets.
  • Provide leadership and support for all direct reports to ensure they excel in their roles to enhance employee engagement.
  • Identify operational and merchandising deficiencies in all stores and provide solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years in the retail Industry in a multi-unit role.
  • CannSell Certification and Clean police record check.
  • Cannabis Retail Store Manager license from AGCO an asset.
  • A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and use of the Internet.
  • Ability to speak clearly and confidently in all business settings.
  • Excellent Business Math skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and calculate math calculations such as discounts, interest rates, percentages etc.
  • Ability to delegate, set expectations and monitor progress of all direct reports.
  • The prioritization skills necessary to use time effectively and set action plans to achieve business targets.
