About the role
- Generates recurring business reporting, KPI dashboards, and operational analytics workflows.
- Maintains and improves SQL-based data models and transformations to ensure reliable reporting.
- Manages analytics requests, reporting tools, and dashboard deliverables across departments.
- Maintains data pipelines and integrations from multiple business systems into centralized data warehouses.
- Facilitates meetings with stakeholders to gather, document and translate business needs into functional / technical requirements.
- Audits queries and models to improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance efficiency.
- Designs and implements data validation checks and tests to ensure accuracy of critical datasets.
- Creates and maintains dashboards, views, and reporting tools for business stakeholders.
- Prioritizes projects, communicates updates to stakeholders, and ensures timelines are met.
- Conducts operational analysis, performance evaluations, and forecasting support to inform decision-making.
- Advises stakeholders on data capture standards, reporting requirements, and structural improvements.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product Development and Technology teams.
- Assists with data preparation for forecasting models and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Monitors industry trends and integrates feedback to maintain reporting relevance and effectiveness.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field and/or 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong SQL proficiency (2–4+ years writing SQL as a primary responsibility).
- Experience working with relational databases such as Google BigQuery or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) and data integration tools (e.g., Fivetran or similar platforms).
- Experience building dashboards and reporting in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Proven ability to manage multiple reporting priorities and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with forecasting, statistical modeling, or operational performance analysis preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, or supply chain environments preferred.
