Key responsibilities & impact

Drive contributed revenue growth
Lead Candid's contributed income strategy with the VP of Influence and CEO
Own an ambitious new money goal, adding new dollars and donors
Develop and execute a strategy to diversify Candid's funder base
Identify, research, and cultivate new donor prospects
Cultivate and steward major relationships
Manage relationships with Candid's largest funders
Oversee a portfolio-based approach across the development team
Work with Finance to set annual targets and maintain accurate monthly revenue projections
Write and communicate Candid's case for support
Lead and develop a high-performing team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 10 years of fundraising experience
Proven success meeting ambitious revenue targets
Experience managing and developing fundraising staff
Exceptional writing skills — compelling case for support
Strategic thinker with understanding of revenue forecasting
Strong relationship builder with interpersonal range
Experience working with CEOs, boards, and senior leadership
Proficiency in Salesforce or comparable CRM
Willingness to perform other duties as needed
