About the role

  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of our Developer Experience and Marketplace ecosystem.
  • Drive architectural decisions for developer experience, partner integrations & extensibility across our banking platform.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and modern user experiences.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to design secure, compliant, and scalable offerings.
  • Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver seamless, secure experiences.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive best practices in secure identity management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • 12+ years in the tech industry, focusing on developer tools, platforms, APIs, and SaaS, with product integration through portals.
  • 5+ years in technical leadership, working with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design, docs, etc.).
  • Proven track record in building developer portals, API platforms, or developer ecosystems.
  • Experience working with clients, professional services, or external developers (e.g., partners, open-source communities).
  • Deep knowledge of API design principles (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and documentation standards (OpenAPI, Swagger).
  • Familiarity with developer experience best practices: SDKs, toolkits, simulators, quick starts, tutorials, etc.
  • Familiarity with UI design systems and UI frameworks ex: React Js or Next Js
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tools, or API lifecycle management (e.g., Postman, Apigee).
  • Proficient in web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, Python, etc.).
  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure).
