About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to establishing and improving a cross-functional technical and methodological foundation focused on data observability and data quality (tooling, KPIs to monitor, associated processes and methods) aimed at maximizing business value (relevance, reliability, completeness, availability…) from project phase through production, in a Big Data environment with rapidly growing volumes (several tens of TB collected per day) and international expansion.
Increase the coverage and relevance of our data quality monitoring with respect to the priority quality areas defined by business needs.
Enhance and refine ML models (supervised and unsupervised algorithms) or statistical anomaly-detection rules and alert-generation logic, and implement them in collaboration with the Data/AI teams.
Ensure and support the proper integration of monitoring and alerting tools into the incident management process (in collaboration with our Incident Manager) and related tooling (ServiceNow, PagerDuty, etc.).
Contribute to the development and improvement of best practices for development and deployment to achieve data quality “by design”.
Perform or contribute to a range of analyses (pre-studies, feasibility analyses, validations, construction of summary indicators and KPIs usable by business teams from raw data, dashboard design) to support Data development projects or cross-functional projects with data impact, giving you exposure to our different business areas and data domains.
More generally, participate in the DATA team’s agile rituals and use collaborative work tools (JIRA, Confluence, Teams, Data Galaxy, GIT, ServiceNow).

Requirements

What you’ll need

You are currently enrolled in a Bac+4/5 (Master’s-level) program specializing in software engineering or Big Data analytics.
You are motivated by methodological approaches and their application/adaptation to concrete business contexts.
You are rigorous, proactive and have good interpersonal skills.
You have a strong command of English.
