About the role

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with consultants
  • Perform all tasks related to account management, particularly financial activities
  • Assess risk and eligibility for employee benefits prospects
  • Prepare and present proposals to consultants or prospective clients
  • Prepare annual renewals and financial reports
  • Analyze and interpret data to prepare reports
  • Prepare and review renewals and participate in negotiations
  • Identify growth opportunities from amendments and develop and execute ambitious, profitable pricing strategies
  • Hold meetings to provide product expertise
  • Propose and implement changes to existing procedures
  • Actively promote marketing initiatives and sales ideas

Requirements

  • Bilingual (fluent in French and English) required
  • University degree preferred, ideally in business, finance, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the employee benefits industry
  • Proven success in selling or marketing employee benefits products is an asset
  • Strong work ethic demonstrating results orientation, motivation, and autonomy
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Good communicator with the ability to present in French and English
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent teamwork, negotiation, and communication skills
