About the role
- Lead a high performing team of Account Executives focused on growing mid and large group benefit businesses
- Work closely with Account Executive on day-to-day concerns including handling escalated issues
- Relationship management with business partners internally and externally
- Collaborate with regional service counterparts to ensure customer needs are exceeded
- Achieve business objectives and execute quarterly business plans
- Provide leadership and coaching to sales team to drive performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in the Group Insurance business
- Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Excellent relationship management and business development skills
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Understand the business environment and advisor/customer needs to create competitive advantage
- Strong understanding of the funding options available in the group benefits space
