About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach 11-week live, synchronous online courses using engaging, student-centered instructional strategies.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes active learning and student participation.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and respond to student inquiries within one to two business days.
- Host weekly office hours.
- Work with Teaching Assistants to co-manage the course, including mentoring the TAs on effective grading and student engagement practices.
- Evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, and submit mid quarter and end of quarter evaluations.
- Participate in optional professional development opportunities and peer-sharing sessions organized by Campus.
- Have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular events (e.g., guest speaking or networking events) to share your unique expertise with the broader Campus community.
- Leverage Campus-provided training and resources to effectively utilize embedded AI tools and modern pedagogical practices in your online classroom.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field; PhD or equivalent advanced degree welcome.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate college/university level.
- Preferred: Experience teaching in online, synchronous (live), or hybrid environments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing.
- Comfort adapting to new educational technologies and a willingness to integrate AI-powered tools into your teaching.
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to high-quality online education.
- Passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
- Available to commit 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training.
