About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Package payment plans and set up automatic emails/texts payment reminders
- Post student payments and respond to student inquiries regarding payment plans
- Review and post charges after add/drop period
- Remind students of delinquent payments and notify Student Success Coaches if a student becomes two months overdue. Notify Student Success Coaches if final payment in quarter has not been paid prior to term end
- Work with Financial Aid to ensure packaging is updated for students who have been identified as not funded or underfunded
- Work with Financial Aid before new academic year starts for continuing students to identify students that will have new payment plans and work with SAS II to get payment plans set up
- Process student account prorations
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience of working in the student accounts functional area in a college or university setting
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in financial aid
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, or education). Relevant certifications or professional development in financial aid administration preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ethical and professional conduct, ensuring confidentiality and privacy of student information
- Experience with Microsoft and Google applications
