About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Financial Aid leaders and key stakeholders to keep critical student-facing operations running smoothly.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the COO on operational risks, opportunities, and resource planning.
- Support critical processes such as aid applications, disbursements, billing, refunds, and payment plans — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Improve workflows and design scalable processes that increase efficiency and quality.
- Create and maintain SOPs that keep cross-functional teams (Admissions, Registrar, Student Success, Financial Aid, Product, etc.) aligned and consistent in how student-facing processes are executed.
- Partner with Product/Eng to roll out tech solutions that streamline operations and improve the student experience.
- Establish performance metrics and dashboards to monitor progress, identify issues early, and continuously improve service.
- Flex into new operational areas over time as Campus continues to scale.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with a track record of improving or building processes in complex organizations.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a bias toward action and measurable results.
- Experience implementing technology-driven process improvements.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
