About the role

  • Own key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Support daily accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger
  • Help maintain accurate records for tuition, fees, and other revenue streams, ensuring proper recognition in accordance with GAAP
  • Review and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and corporate card expenses with a strong eye for detail and policy compliance
  • Assist with preparing internal financial statements and management reports used for decision-making across Campus
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure transactions are coded correctly and processes are efficient
  • Help build, improve, and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls as we scale
  • Support annual audits, tax-related work, and other compliance reporting by preparing schedules, gathering supporting documentation, and collaborating both with cross-functional partners at Campus and with our external auditors and tax advisors

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting
  • A CPA license or progress toward CPA is preferred
  • You’re fluent in Excel and comfortable working with modern finance tools and accounting systems
  • You have a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles.
  • You’re detail-oriented, organized, and take pride in clean, accurate reconciliations and well-documented work.
  • You’re a proactive problem solver who spots inconsistencies, investigates root causes, and proposes solutions.
  • You communicate clearly and can translate financial concepts to non-finance teammates.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and are excited to help build processes, not just follow them.
