About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver first-class customer service to prospects and residents
- Handle resident requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain and improve property curb appeal and cleanliness
- Support Managers in developing and executing annual marketing plans
- Conduct daily follow-up with prospects, identify obstacles, and close leases
- Maintain product knowledge of the property and competitive market through research and networking
- Collaborate with Managers on leasing goals and renewal programs to meet occupancy targets
- Keep offices, common areas, grounds, and model units clean and professional
- Fill in for other team members and assist with after-hours emergencies as needed
- Maintain current and engaging websites, listing sites, social media, and marketing materials
- Monitor digital platforms and report issues or improvement opportunities to management
- Assist with resident functions and community events
- Coordinate on-campus advertising events and build partnerships with schools and student organizations
- Network with local student housing professionals and competitors
- Maintain positive relations with residents, parents, staff, and the broader community while enforcing company policies
- Foster cross-advertising and community ties through campus and local business engagement
- Keep property management software accurate and up to date
- Perform lease processing, administration, and related administrative tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two to Three years in a sales or customer service role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Entrata software
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to market and sell the community
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work
- Must pass criminal background and drug screening
