About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents
  • Handle resident requests promptly and professionally
  • Create a professional and welcoming office environment
  • Improve and maintain the property's curb appeal and cleanliness
  • Assist Managers with implementing and maintaining an annual marketing plan
  • Collaborate with Managers to utilize marketing avenues and develop new ideas
  • Perform and record daily prospect follow-up, identify obstacles, and close deals
  • Maintain product knowledge of the property and competitors through market research
  • Establish, implement, and monitor leasing goals and renewal programs to meet occupancy requirements
  • Clean the office, common areas, grounds, and apartments as needed
  • Fill in for other positions and assist with after-hours emergencies
  • Keep websites, listing sites, social media, and marketing materials current and appealing
  • Assist with planning, advertising, and managing resident functions and events
  • Coordinate campus advertising events and partnerships with schools and student programs
  • Network with student housing professionals, monitor competitors, and build industry relationships
  • Maintain positive relationships with schools and the community
  • Promote harmonious relations among residents, parents, staff, and the surrounding community while enforcing company policies and standards
  • Conduct outreach on campus and at local businesses for cross-advertising and relationship building
  • Keep property management software accurate and up to date
  • Perform lease processing, administration, and other administrative duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two to three years in a sales or customer service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Entrata software
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to market and sell the community
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
