About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain the community’s physical condition both inside and out
  • Promote resident satisfaction through first-class customer service
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build positive relationships with visitors, prospects, residents, neighbors, community members, schools, and city departments
  • Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure all areas are functional, safe, and well-maintained
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety across offices, common areas, stairwells, exteriors, basements, grounds, and models
  • Identify and address potential liability issues related to property maintenance
  • Complete work orders promptly, professionally, and courteously
  • Ensure thorough cleanup after each task
  • Document and bill residents for damages caused by neglect or misuse, including collecting photos and proof as needed
  • Collaborate with the leasing office to coordinate service requests and optimize resident satisfaction
  • Maintain an organized and safe maintenance shop and storage areas
  • Participate in company training
  • Maintain professionalism in workmanship, communication, personal appearance, organization, and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficient working knowledge of basic building HVAC systems
  • Proficient working knowledge of basic building electrical systems
  • Proficient working knowledge of basic plumbing systems
  • Experience with make-ready unit preparation
  • Construction skills including sheetrock patching, texture, painting, flooring, and carpentry
  • Experience with groundskeeping and irrigation systems
  • Keep all insurances and licenses current
  • Comply with all codes, legal, OSHA, and safety regulations
