About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents
Clean vacated units to prepare them for lease and move-in
Keep property grounds clean by picking up trash
Ensure the property is clean, maintained, and safe across offices, common areas, stairwells, basements, grounds, and exteriors
Identify and address potential liability situations
Assess property physical conditions and recommend curb-appeal improvements with Manager approval
Complete work orders promptly, professionally, and courteously, including thorough clean-up
Maintain organized and safe maintenance shops and storage areas
Ensure exterior lighting is functional and adequate for community safety and oversee inspections
Set project deadlines and update the Manager on progress
Follow applicable codes, legal requirements, OSHA standards, and compliance statutes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 1 year relevant experience managing building systems in student housing
At least 1 year experience with building automation systems and life safety systems
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Creative, proactive, and willing to challenge the status quo
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Passion for mentoring and team building
Personal drive to excel, grow within the company, and take ownership
Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in enhancing operations, resident satisfaction, and property performance
