About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the community’s physical condition both inside and out
- Timely and professional handling of all requests is essential
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build positive relationships with visitors, prospects, residents, neighbors, community members, schools, and city departments
- Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure all areas are functional, safe, and well-maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and safety across offices, common areas, stairwells, exteriors, basements, grounds, and models
- Complete work orders promptly, professionally, and courteously
- Document and bill residents for any damages caused by neglect or misuse
- Collaborate with leasing office to coordinate service requests and optimize resident satisfaction
- Comply with all codes, legal, OSHA, and safety regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient working knowledge of basic building HVAC systems
- Proficient working knowledge of basic building electrical systems
- Proficient working knowledge of basic plumbing systems
- Experience with make-ready unit preparation
- Construction skills including sheetrock patching, texture, painting, flooring, and carpentry
- Experience with groundskeeping and irrigation systems
