About the role
- Serve as a customer-focused leader, overseeing day-to-day operations, team development, financial performance, and strategic planning.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team that embodies the values and culture of CLS Living.
- Drive team to achieve performance indicators, offering feedback to underperforming associates, and managing disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
- Manage the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting property tours, providing updates, and responding to owner requests.
- Maintain occupancy at/or above 95% and collections at/or above 95% of potential income, or in accordance with the approved operating budget.
- Lead the development and execution of an annual marketing plan and track daily/weekly leasing goals.
- Plan and execute resident events to foster community engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 3-5 years of experience in multifamily housing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Success in a leadership role with at least 3 years of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and property management software (Yardi preferred).
- Familiarity with both market-rate and LIHTC programs is a plus.
- Understanding and adherence to Fair Housing and EEO laws.
- Strong skills in staff recruitment and development, financial management, marketing strategy, scheduling, and operational oversight.
