About the role
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the dealership's objectives to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Manage the selection, deployment, and integration of software applications, including dealership management systems (DMS), CRM systems, and other business-critical applications.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions and timely support.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the dealership and recommending innovative solutions.
- Provide training and development opportunities for IT staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, keeping them abreast of technological advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in IT leadership roles, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
- Strong technical expertise in business applications management and database management.
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and other automotive software applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.
