About the role
- Design and execute market-specific sales plans
- Collaborate with distributors to deliver all commercial targets
- Develop new channels based on the company strategy
- Monitor forecasts, budgets, targets, and depletions
- Motivate and monitor distributors’ performance
- Conduct regular business reviews and market visits
- Execute and monitor pricing strategies
- Maintain and share detailed knowledge of the company's brands
- Monitor competitor activities and keep up-to-date with industry trends
- Be proactive in prospecting potential distributors and key outlets
- Support off-trade and special channel strategy and negotiations
- Effectively manage travel and expenses
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in spirits sales and distributor management
- Solid experience within the Chinese market
- FMCG background, on / off premise, outlet management and ecommerce is a plus
- Degree qualified
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent analytical, result-driven, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and persuasive.
- Good presentation/selling skills
- IT proficiency (computer literate)
- English as working language is preferred.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally on an ad hoc basis
