About the role
- Ensure smooth execution of logistics processes, including inbound flows, warehouse services, copacking, and customs compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and service levels
- Oversee general inbound processes and inventory control
- Manage inventory transactions in SAP, including regular stock reconciliations
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of operational performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on customer needs
- Enhance and maintain logistics key performance indicator (KPI) reports
- Manage and coordinate copacking activities
- Handle claims resolution
- Collaborate with and oversee external logistics service providers
- Prepare for negotiations with contract logistics service providers
- Act as point of contact for customs authorities; manage customs documentation and support monthly financial processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on logistics or completed commercial education with additional training (e.g., Fachwirt Güterverkehr und Logistik or Logistiksysteme)
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in logistics
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Fluency in English and German
- Independence and reliability as well as a high degree of customer orientation
- Strong problem-solving attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
